We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
Our History
In the early years, the funeral home was owned by John Giminski, who forged a name for the business by hard work and resourcefulness. After he passed, the business was turned over to his brother in law, John Diligent. John Wysocki, who had a funeral home at the corner of Genesee and Liberty Streets, purchased the funeral home. He redesigned it and gave it a new name: Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home. Construction on the new ediface and building was completed in 1969.
It was with great sadness Syracuse marked the passing of John Wysocki in 1984. He had been a pillar of the community on the West Side and was greatly missed. His wife, Genevieve, continued his tradition of trusted service to Syracuse and the Polish community. By maintaining Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home she honored his name and the memory of his years of dedication and hard work.
