Traditional Christmas Eve Dinner
Celebrate Wigilia, a Traditional Polish Christmas Eve Meal with friends and family on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 5:00pm at the Syracuse Polish Home, 915 Park Avenue.
After the youngest child spots the first star, we will share the Oplatek, the Christmas wafer, and exchange best wishes for health, wealth and happiness in the New Year. The gourmet, multi-course meal will conclude with the singing of koledy – traditional Polish carols.
Menu: Herring in Cream, Polish Mushroom Soup, Pierogi with potato & cheese, Pierogi with sauerkraut, Carrots, Baked Haddock Polonaise, Sauerkraut with peas and mushrooms, Fruit Compote, Rye Bread and Babka, Coffee, Tea and Holiday Dessert.
