William "Cy" Zajac

William "Cy" Zajac, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Mr. Zajac retired from Rollway Bearing after 40 years of service. He and his wife, Hattie recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. He proudly served his country in the Third Army 4th Division. He was an avid golfer who carried a zero handicap. The oldest of his siblings, he was often called upon to help maintain their homes. He is survived by his wife, Hattie; two sons, Bill (Cheri) of Baldwinsville, and Alan (Sue) of Clay; four grandchildren, Scott, Colin, Tina, and Jenna; and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Ellianna. Funeral services will be at noon, on Wednesday, at Giminski Wysocki Funeral Home, 1320 West Genesee Street, with a burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Geddes. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon.
