Robert Ernest Powers

Robert Ernest Powers, 93, passed away January 15, 2020. Son of John Joseph and Agnes (Keef) Powers, he resided in Syracuse for many years before moving to Pinehurst, NC. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy aboard the USS Medregal during World War II in the Pacific theater. He was a retired New York State Police Captain, a former Chief of Police for the Camillus Police Department and a longtime Judge for the Camillus Justice Court. Burial took place January 21, 2020, at Sacred Heart Cemetery, under New York State Police honors.
