Helen C. Falcone, 97, of Schenectady, formerly of Syracuse, died Friday. Born in Solvay, Helen attended Solvay High School. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Syracuse and was a long time communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a member of its Seniors Group. She is predeceased by her daughter, Marlen Ann Falcone Lipina in 1996. Helen is survived by her son Victor (Cathy), of Schenectady; two grandchildren: Richard and Brandi; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Friday, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Friends may call from 8:30 am to 9:15 am, prior to Mass, at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home; 1320 West Genesee Street, Syracuse. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery in Geddes.
