Casimir (Chuck) Wojcik, aged 95, passed away on Monday, the 28th of October at Veterans Hospital. Casimir was an Army Veteran who enlisted during World War II, serving three combat tours in Burma and China. After his discharge from the Army he went to work at Muench Kreuzer Candle Company, until he retired after 49 years. His greatest pleasures in life were fishing, love of Polish music and the loud discussions with his brother Pete on a daily basis. Casimir was predeceased by his brother Peter this past July. He was also predeceased by sisters Mary (Pullman), Helen (March) and Fran (Gates); and brothers John, Stanley, Joseph, and Frank. He is survived by sister-in-law Mary Wojcik, brother-in-law Charles Gates, cherished nieces Dorothy (Bob) Sayre and Mary (Tony) Iannettone; and nephews Edward (Patty) and Paul. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica Of Sacred Heart of Jesus; 927 Park Ave. Syracuse, New York. There will be no calling hours.
